At Colibri Art, your satisfaction is very important to us. If for any reason your purchase is not quite what you expected, we have made the returns process as straightforward as possible.
Returning an Item – 5 Simple Steps
Step 1 – Contact Us
Please email us at contact@colibriart.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order to let us know that you would like to return an item.
We will confirm your request and provide the return instructions.
Step 2 – Receive Confirmation
After contacting us, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the necessary details for returning your item.
Step 3 – Send the Item Back
Please return the item in the same condition in which it was delivered.
When sending your parcel, please include the following information:
- Your name and surname
- Your return address
- Order number
- Purchase date
The return address will be provided in the confirmation email.
You may also complete our Order Return Form which can be found HERE if you prefer, although this is not mandatory.
Step 4 – Return Conditions
To ensure a smooth return process, please make sure that:
- The item shows no signs of wear beyond normal inspection
- The item is returned in its original packaging
- The warranty certificate is included with the return
Step 5 – Confirm the Return Shipment
Once you have posted the item, please email us at contact@colibriart.co.uk
with:
- The courier service used
- The tracking number
Please note: the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you return an item within 30 days of delivery, you may request either:
- A refund, or
- An exchange, depending on your preference
Refunds within 14 days (Statutory Right):
If you cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
- You will receive a full refund for the item(s)
- We will also refund the standard delivery cost (if paid)
Please note:
- If you selected a premium or express delivery option, only the standard delivery cost will be refunded
- Return postage costs remain the responsibility of the customer
Returns for Discounted Orders
If a return is made from an order where a discount or promotion was applied, the discount may be adjusted or removed.
In such cases, the refund amount will reflect the adjusted value of the returned item, excluding any promotional reductions applied to the original order (such as free shipping, etc.).
Important Information
- The customer is responsible for the condition of the item while it is being returned
- Colibri Art cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return shipping
- We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service
Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
To exercise this right, please notify us by email at contact@colibriart.co.uk with a clear request to cancel the order.
Once your cancellation request has been confirmed:
- You must return the item within 14 days
- Return shipping costs are paid by the customer
